I can't connect to my wireless Internet

I'm on my iPod so that's why my typing may be messed up.

So anyways I'm connected to the wireless Internet in of house with a netgear wireless adapter. It works fine all the time bit I was playing world of warcraft and all the sudden g froze so I manually reatarted my comp uter. Usually it automatically connects me to Internet bit it didn't so I went to type the WEP key thing in and it wouldn't connect,and yes I was using the correct key. So not sure where to go next. Also when I click the little computer icon on the bottom right corner of the screen, it says no wireless networks found so for as reason it can't find my network. I've had this problem once before so I called timewarner and they walked me through it. Idr what they had me do. I just remember that I had to select something that said use windows when connecting to a wireless network or something like that. So could anyone try to help me fix this?? Thanks!!

Is the USB adapter enabled? It may been disabled - go to Start --> Settings --> Network Connection and right-click on your connection.

It's always worth updating the adapter's drivers when you experience intermittent connectivity issues - go to Netgear's website and download.

If the adapter came with its own software, go to the Start Menu and find it and check all looks well there too. Sometimes the radio gets turned off inadvertantly.
