Default I have to keep rebooting my router

I've had a Linksys router for a while now, but lately my wifi is acting up. My desktop computer will sometimes just poop out and my internet won't work until I reboot the router. This almost always happens when I restart Windows XP. My Zune HD is even worse. I'll use internet for 5 minutes and then it will just poop out. I reboot, then it stops 8 minutes later. have to reboot again. It's driving me crazy! What is causing this? Is my router broken? Is there a more reliable router than Linksys or is it just busted?
