IPOD TOUCH 3gen

Hi,
I just bought an Ipod touch third gen a few days ago. I have a dlink router for my wifi at home (DIR-615)..I have excellent signal strength and my laptop (pc) runs on that just fine. I try to access the wifi off of the touch..and it says i'm connected..ive entered the correct passkey and all...but no pages will load!

I have tried using the touch at work and school..and while the internet connections arent as stable there...pages load and everything runs fine...

ive already tried hard resetting the router...maybe it has something to do with the security? none of the other wireless networks i used were protected...

i'm not sure what to do now...any suggestions??
