Default Lost wireless Networks Tab in Wireless Ntwk Conn Properties

Every time my windows xp-pro pc starts up, Ihave lost the Wireless Networks Tab --and windows control of wireless settings --- on the Wireless Network Connection Properties box. I go to services, restart Wireles Zero Configuration, then open the Wireless Properties box and click on "Use Windows to configure my wirelss network settings". It works find to connect.

But, everytime the pc is turned off, I lose these settings again.

I had a Netgear pcmcia wireless card, it died, so uninstalled all Netgear progam, and installed a new usb USRobotics wireless adapter. I have used the USRobotics install wizard to tell it NOT to control my settings.. but even when it does control it, it won't automatically connect to my wireless lan.

I am using a D-Link DI624 wireless router. It works fine on all the other pcs in our household.

Thanks for any advice!! Do I have a corrupted registry setting or something?

Default Problem solved

I discovered that Network Magic had taken control of my wireless settings. By removing that control, I'm back in business. Sorry for the bother... Patches
