Default Mac Filtering for netgear DGN1000SP

Hi, I am a bit of a newbie when it comes to routers, and I have been having trouble connecting my new kindle fire to my computer using my router. I have been asked by amazon if my router uses mac filtering, and I just can't find the answer anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Lynchie.
