Default Media Streaming Issues...

Hello all,

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. The problem I am having involves streaming media from my WHS to my PS3. No matter what I am watching normally 10-15 minutes into it there will be a freeze and then I will receive a media server error message (80710723). At that point if I want a few minutes it will sometimes continue, other times it will drop off. If I hit pause, rewind and fumble with it, sometimes that will work and get the video rolling again. This happens when accessing my server directly or also when using programs like Tversity.

My PS3 is hardwired to a switch which is hardwired to my Comcast modem.

I have already tried things like setting my PS3 as a static IP and then going into my modem settings and setting the DMZ to allow all access from the PS3 IP. After doing this, it still has the same issues when streaming. At this point I am almost giving up and may just transfer the movies over to the PS3 before watching them as opposed to streaming.

Thanks again for any help.

Here are my specs:

Downstairs (2 computers connected via a D-Link DGS-2208 switch). This switch is hardwired and connected to a comcast business modem upstairs (SMCD3G).

Upstairs Family Room (2 PS3 / Directv / Xbox 360 / AV Receiver connected via a D-Link DGS-2208 switch). This switch is also hardwired and connected to the comcast business modem in other room (SMCD3G).

Computer Room (2 kids computer / Imac / Windows Home Server / Windows 7 machine / Netgear Wireless N Access Point). Netgear, both kids computer, Imac, and WHS server are all connected to a D-Link DGS-1008G Switch. Windows 7 Machine is connected to the Comcast Modem (SMCD3G) along with the 3 mentioned switches.

Wireless items in the house include an Xbox 360 downstairs along with an HP tablet and 3 IPhones using the wifi.

Could the problem be stemming from the Netgear access point?

I do have a diagram listed below but it's pretty tiny. Thanks.
