Default Netgear MBR624GU and DLink DWL-3200

Hopefully someone can help.

What I have is the Netgear MBR624GU 3G broadband router connected obviously to my internet.

I then have a computer a little out of normal range, and have since purchased a DLink DWL-3200 Access point.

However I need some guidance on how to have the second computer either attach via LAN or WLAN. I have tried all different settings on both routers.

I would also be happy to have the Dlink in the middle of the house somewhere just as the sole access point but cant get it to talk to the Netgear without the Wire attached.

Thanks in advance.
