Here's the deal. I had a router that was behaving badly. Meanwhile, my internet stopped working. I think it is my router. I purchase a new one. I find out that my internet provider pulled the plug and no longer transmits. Internet problem was not the router at all.
I have tethered my smart phone to my laptop to limp along till I figure out what to do. (semi-rural community, satellite internet stinks, any opinions on this would be appreciated.)
I want to keep the router because the old one was temperamental. What I want to do is be able to print documents to my wireless printer, using the new Belkin F9K1103V1 router. I have all the disks, but the router sees that I have no internet and wants me to call Belkin. I don't want to sit on hold for 60 minutes.
This has to be so simple that a monkey could do it with no problems. (It took me 3 days to figure out how to tether the phone to the laptop.)
