I'm pretty new to the whole wireless process and with the terminology so I was wondering if anyone could answer this question. I currently live in an aparment with only wireless capability. I was wondering if there is a device that I could buy that could pick up the wireless signal, and then plug into a wired ethernet router, so I can have other computers hook up to it and use the wireless signal.
A tech guy from our ISP mentioned something about using an access point and fiddling with it but we could not figure out how to do it. Could I just plug a wireless gaming adapter into the "internent" slot of the wired router and then have all the computers connect to the router and use the wireless signal? Again sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm still very confused with this stuff. Thanks.
