Default New to wireless networks, please help.

I've got a NETGEAR WG311v3 Wireless NIC in this PC, let's call it PC1.

There are three PC's I'd like to have on this network, PC2 and PC3 respectively. PC1 is a floor above 2 and 3. I've got a Linksys WRT54G downstairs. I'd like to (if possible) have the cable modem connect directly to PC1 and have the wireless NIC broadcast a signal to the Linksys downstairs with two wired PC's hooked up to it to provide them with internet.

Could anyone help?

It is possible; you could set up PC1 as a client to the WRT54G wireless, disable DHCP on the WRT54G and use Windows ICS on PC1 to share the cable connection.

This is a bit of a kludge however, as the WRT54G is specifically designed to work as the internet gateway and you will end up with far better results (not to mention much better security) using this to share the internet if it is possible.
