Question No DHCP through WGT624 in Wireless Bridge Mode

Hello. To start out I've followed a combination of these two guides, one makes corrections to the other...

HowTo on setting a Netgear WGT624v3 in Client mode

I will first explain my configurations then my problems. Please somebody HELP ME!

Logged into Router Gui Setting same SSID name and Channel and WEP security keys are exactly the same
disabled the ssid broadcast
disabled dhcp
disabled SPI firewall
set a default DMZ Server as the default gateway to my Main Access Point (tried this to solve problems did nothing)
Checked Respond to Ping on Internet port
Nat filtering set to Open
Set the Router Ip to which my master router is set to
then subnet is
RIP Direction set to both
RIP Version 1
then saved and logged out

I then telnet into the box setting the following commands

add remotewbr (entered 3 mac adresses of my master wireless router just to be safe)
set oper wbr
set wds enable
set remoteap (put in master router's mac)(not sure if this mattered)

Went into master router's GUI and set it to AP + WDS and specified my router's mac address for it to link with. Entered its second mac for the wireless port as well just to be safe.

then from there on i can see my bridge using wds from my master router's gui
I also can connect my Xbox to the WGT624 using it to get internet access and see the xbox from my master router.
HOWEVER the only way to get internet was to manually give it the correct ip configuration
for some reason dhcp wont automatically assign addresses to deviced attached to my bridge.
also i can see but not ping devices over my network. Please help me understand how to get the dhcp to assign ip's across my bridge. There is no way for me to share files to my xbox otherwise.

Did you enable DHCP on the WDS AP?
Is the client set in WDS Client mode??
If you set up a WDS Bridge you need something acting as DHCP ??

Wireless is supposed to be fun

Hey thanks for a reply.
I have my Access point acting as a DHCP and its in WDS+AP mode so im able to connect to it still right now and get ip's.
My WGT is in bridge mode because using client mode never worked for me. When I used bridge mode i was able to get them to communicate and access the web, however that was all static with no dhcp communicating through the bridge.
Is that the reason its not working? Does it need client mode for the DHCP to pass information across my network?
