Exclamation problem maintaining connection with Belkin N-150 router and USB adapter

I recently purchased both a Belkin N-150 router and USB adapter. everything appears to be hooked up correctly, as I am even on my wireless computer now. however, after about 10 minutes of being logged on, I am no longer able to access the internet. I can still send and receive emails through Outlook and IMs through AIM. I can also ping and receive replies. but when I try to open IE or Firefox, nothing works anymore. my toolbar and router both confirm that I am still connected, but only restarting the computer can reconnect the way it should be. any suggestions? also, Ive already called tech support and they were no help to me.

Thumbs down Belkin N150

I have the same issue. Just bought this router to replace an old Linksys. Lots of very negative reviews at Bestbuy.com. I'm taking it back tomorrow.

Hi all,
New guy here and totally new to wifi. My kids got me a Belkin N-150 for Christmas. I'm not exactly a techie but managed to install it without too much of a problem. And to my surprise, it worked. I was using my laptop out on the patio.
Now, however, I can't connect to Internet, OR get mail. So, my problem is a little different that yours, bwoznicki. You connect and lose it after a few minutes, but I can't get anywhere at all. All indications are that I am connected with an excellent signal. Restarting doesn't work.
I cannot for the life of me figure out what's wrong.
Any ideas?
