We use our i-phones hot spot as our internet. My Asus lap top running windows 7 works just great, our server is Verizon. There is also a Wi fi signal from Verizon that we use located in another house on the property. We have been trying to get our Dell 4200 desk top, runninng window XP home edition to get internet and are having no luck! We installed NetGear WNA3100 N300 Wireless USB adapter to the desktop. It says that connections are available, and shows both, bet trying to connect results in error messages. I think it is somehing to do with cofiguration, I called Dell and they want $$ to walk me through the process The latest message reads: The network password needs to be 40bits 104bits depending on your network configuration. This can be entered as 5 or 13 ascii characters or 10 or 26 hexadecimal characters?! Any advise?
