Recently my wireless speed dropped from 54 mbps constant to 1 mbps constant. I only get aorund 40 packets a second. In fact it took almost 2 minutes to load this page. Every other Windows computer in our household has no problem. In fact, on this computer, Linux has no problem with the internet speed. So I'm thinking it's a problem with my drivers - I've dried reinstalling them and using the drivers that came with the CD. No avail - same problem. I can't get any drivers for this card besides the one on the CD. Is there a driver similar to Linux's works-on-a-lot-of-cards driver? I've tried everything, from resestting the router to changing the channel to moving all interfering devices away from it, nothing has worked.
Sounds like either very bad interference (cordless phone, microwave over, other wireless network, etc) or the radio side of the card is stuffed. Have you tried swapping it with one in another computer?
