Default small network help

I have setup a network at my work and I want to setup two separate wireless networks: one for my employee's use and another for customer use in my waiting area.

I have cable access though a Comcast Business IP Gateway (SMC8014), then into a Netgear Prosafe 16 Port 10/100 Switch (FS116). The two wireless routers I have are a Linksys WRT110 and a Linksys BEFW11S4.

I have two problems:

(1) with just the BEFW11S4 everything works properly, for one day only. If I unplug the power and reconnect it works again for only one day. This is when the second router (WRT110) is not connected. When the BEFW11S4 is connected I have the ethernet wire plugged into one of the 4 LAN ports and I am able to connect to the existing network and share printers and files. If I substitute the WRT110 in place of the BEFW11S4 and plug into one of the 4 LAN ports I cannot connect to the internet or the network. This router must have the wire plugged into the Internet jack to access internet, but will not connect to the existing network

(2) my other problem is when both of the wireless routers are connected, my entire network stops working, the hard wired and wireless cannot connect to the internet or to the other computers in the network.

I have basic knowledge of setting up WIFI routers and I am not sure which setting need to be changed.
I would ultimately like to run both wireless routers, one that can connect to the existing network for employee use and the other only for portable or customer use.

What setting should I change? Computers in my network range from windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7.

Thanks

Default

only one of them can be the DHCP server. you may have two DHCP servers.

you may have both set up as routers
