Really struggling to organise two wireless networks together.
Have one Netgear DG834GSP wireless router connected to 2 laptops wirelessly (one on Vista, one on XP) + acting as my ADSL modem. Trying to join on another router (SpeedTouch 585v6) into that network to act as an access point for my old xbox (direct ethernet connection to the second router). The xbox is softmodded to act as a media center but I don't want to run it straight off the laptop (what's the point?), so am trying to connect it to the existing network to access the laptop hardrives wirelessly. There used to be a wireless network adaptor for the xbox but they're impossibe to find and i have 2 old routers floating around, hence the attempt. The netgear has a default gateway of 10.1.1.1, the speedtouch is on 192.168.1.254. The netg isn't WDS capable as far as i can tell, but the speed touch is.
So far, have tried shutting down the DHCP on the speed touch, matching the gateway IPs to the same range and sharing the SSID but none of that has worked, and to be honest I'm not quite sure what I'm doing...

Have reset both routers to baseline and was hoping for some more expert advice - preemptive thanks!
