Trouble installing wireless card

I purchased a Ubiquiti Networks SCR 300mw a/b/g w mmcx card to use with my Dell laptop running Win 2000 pro. Plugged it in but Windows did not see it( Plug in play). So i did a hardware search but it still did not see it. I finally got Windows to see it but it will not function. I went to the website and downloaded the latest drivers for it but still no go.The drivers say they are for Win xp so i am quessing they are not the proper ones and i can't seem to find any others.

I am hoping someone here can help me get this thing working.I am out of ideas.

Have you tried it in a different laptop? Those cards draw much higher current than standard cards and some laptops are unable to reliably supply this.
