I've recently ventured into the realms of wireless networking to share net connection with daddy kinder. However, after setting up the wireless network and connecting to it, successfully, on my PC, I've tried to set it up on dad's laptop. However it steadfastly refuses to see the wireless network.
The router is a D-Link Dl-524 AirPlusG and dad's network card is a Belkin F5D9010 G+MIMO.
I'm assuming they should be compatible, so why in gods name wont the laptop see the network?
Any help would be much appreciated, as dad's a grumpy old sod and won't be happy
Not to worry. It's sorted. Am not really sure what happened / I did, but it's working now. Am still not sure how the card couldn't detect the network at first, but it seems to work fine now. Urgh. I should really pay more attention to what I'm doing!
