USB WLan adapter with wii and Pc

i bought a USB WLan adapter, installed the software ,plugged it in and tried to connect with the nintendo wii. No luck but the daughters pc upstairs connected.

I followed the instructions on this page

and the wii connected.

now the pc upstairs wont connect.

what settings must i change to get the upstairs pc to connect?

also the usb adapter wont work unless the pc is booted up with the unit inserted, i can live with that but id really like it to work with the wii and the upstairs Pc
