I have a USR8054 which has worked perfectly for a couple of years now.
Recently, I got a VoiP box which needs to be put in front of the router to work ideally. The VoiP box has a 4 port router included with it, but not a wireless router.
I tried to connect the USR8054 to the VoiP router, and set it as "AP only" which I would have thought would cause all wireless computers to pull DHCP from the 4 port VoiP router.
Unfortunately, this didn't seem to work. (Yes, they are wire connected)
So right now, my laptops (wireless) are on one LAN (192.168.1.*) while my desktops are all on another LAN (192.168.15.*) and they are unable to see each other. The USR8054 has an IP address from the VoiP router, but the wireless computers have their IP address from USR8054.
Thing is, I need them to be able to see each other, as we use remote desktop alot in my house (5 computers) and we use a print server as well for all of our printing. We also remote in from outside for our business. Not to mention the file sharing between computers. All in all... the computers being able to see each other is extremely important.
In short, I need the computers to go through wireless usr8054 and pull their IP addresses from the 4 port VoiP router. Currently, the USR8954 is set up at defaults (to avoid any user error on account of settings I had in there). The only setting I have changed on the VoiP router, is to have port forwarding enabled for my FTP server.
