WEP password will not set- for Wi-FI

Wi-Fi connection problem to HP laptop Windows Home Premium, is at Hotel w 150 rooms, and I am only person w connection problem.
Same problem with 3 new computers.
Tried to connect by Hotel office.
Issue I can see the Hotel's network and have a correct password for the WEP encryption, however when I enter it some type of default 10 digit number comes up, same number on all three new computers out of the box.

Have spent 5 hours with HP, and Micro center, and expert support, any help is appreciated.
