Default Why Wont You Recognize My Network!!??? AAAHH!

I have a Linksys Wireless G wireless adaptor in my laptop, and am running a Netgear Wireless N Wireless Router. I have already connected plenty of times, but if I turn off the computer and come back later, sometimes even in the same day, suddenly the network is not there. It is NOT a signal strength issue, as I always get full bars and an "excellent" message. I was thinking maybe it is due to the wireless G card, with wireless N router. I was told there may be a driver upgrade to be downloaded for my old network adapter, but am yet to find it. I have tried refreshing the network list, turning it off and on again, unplugging everything, turning it off, then plugging it all back in, plugging in the cable modem first, THEN the router, etc, etc, etc. It is driving me crazy. It seems like there is no combiniation of actions I can do to "reset" the network properly to guarantee the network is then recognized by my laptop. Its like it has a mind of its own, and is only recognized when it wants to be. Anything I can do with my 192.168.0.1 settings? Or a download link for updated drivers?

PLEASE HELP AS I AM GETTING VERY FRUSTRATED
... and don't want to throw my computer through the window :-)

Thanks!!

Try to delete the saved information of your Wireless Router in your laptop and connect again.
