WIFI Connectivity Problem

Hey folks, sorry for the generic headline to what is probably a fairly generic problem.

I recently got Time Warner Cable and Internet.
They've set me up with a Netgear CG814WG Modem&Router. Internet is working fine connected directly, internet is working fine on wifi.....on all by one laptop in the home.

The one laptop can successfully connect to the network and identifies the internet connection (no "limited or no connectivity" alert). However, when I go to browse on any browser (IE,FF,Chrome), the internet is not working.

I enter urls and the browser starts to load the page and continues to "load the page" eternally. On some occasions, the website's title will appear in the browser, proving some degree of connectivity, but that is the farthest it will load.

Anyone have any ideas on what I could do to get WIFI working on this laptop?

sounds like a firewall or antivirus problem. the hardware connects, then the software blocks.
