Default Wifi suddenly losing connectivity ever few minutes

Having a weird issue with my home wireless network that has been working perfectly for a couple of months. A few days ago I noticed that my Dell XPS 1530 laptop started giving me trouble when browsing the internet wirelessly. I soon found that if I turned off the wireless network card via the switch on the side of the laptop and then turned it on again, it would work for another 5 or 10 minutes before losing connectivity again. After a few days of this though, the thing has stopped connecting altogether. Can't for the life of me figure out why...nobody has been changing router settings or anything like that. The laptop is running Windows 7 and the router is a D-Link DIR-615.
