Hi, I have recently been upgraded by BT to the home networking package. They give you a usb/wireless network hub and all the cables you need.
I have set it up no problems at all on my desktop pc (hard wired) and all works great. I now have tried to use my old laptop wirelessly using a wifi card. I have got the wifi card set in station mode, the wifi card appears to be working (green light flashes) but the bt network hub is not picking up any devices. I have tried a hard wired lan cable into the other pci card on my laptop and that works fine but I cannot get the wireless connection going at all. I have tried letting BT help sort it out via India but had no luck. The man from bt told me there may be a problem with the IP stack ? I think he just timed out on the phone.
