Hi, I have a wireless domain system, with 3 AP aironet 1230. I have followed the steps in the cisco's manual, to set a WDS and the fast secure roaming. I've reduced the number of AP for my WDS ( 2 AP only )just for this practice but I have to set 8 AP in my domain.
Everything appears to be valid, but when I try to roam, I receive the message OT11-7-CCKM_AUTH_FAILED: Station [mac-address] CCKM authentication
failed. The cisco's errors page, says "Verify that the topology of the access points configured to use the WDS access point is functional.".
My client makes roaming, from the AP with WDS, to the AP "infraestructure", logged succesfully in the WDS. but when I try from the AP infraestructure to the AP WDS, it trys to reauthenticate and the result it's the loss of packets and lost of link during aprox 7 to 10 seconds.
I've followed all the steps to verify that my WDS its functional, and the CCKM key management appears when I authenticate to my WDS.
My settings are:
1 AP, with WDS, 254 priority.
Cisco ACS as my authenticator server, for clients and AP's.
1 ap, as AP infraestructure.
Cisco Aironet client.
SSID's with the follow settings, in both AP, and, using channels 1, and 11 to avoid overlapping
I have vlans, and the int BVI 1 uses the vlan1 as native, the other vlan's are dot1q encapsulated, and my switch port it's a cisco 2924M, with trunking enabled and dot1q encapsulated.
