We just moved into a new house a week ago, and the wi-fi from then on has been absolutely terrible.
So this is the rundown;
We had an old XP Desktop at our old house with a wireless router that our two laptops(Vista and 7) and an Android phone could connect to perfectly. That desktop then crashed but the wifi worked perfectly still. Then we got a new Windows 7 desktop in the old house which still worked perfectly with our 2 laptops and wifi was reliable and the signal was strong and it almost never disconnected.
Then we moved to a new house, and apartment and everything has been acting up. We only get reliable internet on our desktop. On our 2 laptops and phone, internet comes and goes. Like just yesterday I had internet access on my Win 7 laptop while my sister couldn't access the internet on her Vista laptop. Then my connection disappeared and I couldn't get it back, whenever I clicked "Connect," I would get the default "You could not connect" and "Troubleshoot these problems." My sister then gets internet for most of today, but loses it for hours at a time.
It's really irritating as I would like to be able to use wi-fi on my Win 7 laptop to get to the internet, my sister would like to use it to get on her Vista laptop and I would like to also be able to get internet on my phone.
I saw that you guys required this to see what was happening, so here you go.
