wrt54g alchemy 1.0 wifi/lan issue

I have 4 systems pluged directly in to the lan ports on the router i also have 5 or 6 systems on the wireless side all work fine issue is i now have a dsm 520 media lounge in lan mode works great shows its static ip on server software just fine and it sees the server on the network.. NOW in wifi mode
(which is why ya buy the darn thing) it will work only if i start the server while the client (dsm520) is searching for it will connect and play but the server shows the connection coming from 192.168.0.1 which is link sys box
when its hardwired in (lan) it shows 192.168.0.69 the static one assigned
linksys is set up as gateway if i change to rip2 router with lan and wireless selected it works okay in wireless mode but none of my systems can get out to internet my provider box is a sprint 645 set up in bridge mode only way to be able to use linksys with static ip so they said . im not sure if there is a static route that i could add to fix this or what seems everything has to bounce off linksys(192.168.0.1) between wifi and lan almost like they are 2 different networks which they are not . any help is apprecited
