Default XP PC<--> Vista laptop network problem

I have an XP PC wired to a linksys router and a Vista wi fi laptop. Both computers can access the internet fine, they just don't see each other. I have run the network setup several times, and tried turning off firewalls. (trend micro on both machines) Help!
