Default mp3s on Nokia 6234

I've just bought a Nokia 6234 which says it supports mp3s. Can i download these directly onto my sd card from my windows media player without having to buy them from Vodafone?

Yes, you can transfer them onto your SD card if you have a SD card reader or a cable that connects your phone to your computer.

I have a sony ericsson w800i and I put music on my phone by plugging in a usb cable and then just dropping the mp3's into the drive.

Did you manage it ok? Just a thought but you need drivers and a USB data cable (probably best to buy this on ebay).

A medium-sized candybar with a lot of nerves, Nokia 6233 is one of the current Nokia handsets that might interest you in case you are looking for non-smartphone 3G solution. What is more, the classic styled mobile offers a great TFT display, great stereo speakers, microSD card slot, and a 2 megapixel camera capable of capturing video in the exciting VGA resolution, just to name a few. Exciting is not the word to use when describing the phone itself, but as you would see if you read further on, it surely packs in some nice features.
