The Nokia 1100 (and a closely-related variant, the Nokia 1101) is a durable ultrabasic GSM mobile phone produced by Nokia with a 96 x 65 monochrome screen. It is targeted towards developing countries, those who are on a budget, and users who do not require advanced features beyond making calls and SMS text messages, alarm clock, reminders, etc.
The 1100 is similar to the now unavailable 5110/3210/3310 models that were among the most popular cell phones in the world a few years ago before handsets developed several new features such as cameras, polyphonic ringtones and colour screens.
Features
The 1100 features a built-in flashlight - activated by pressing the "c" key twice when the keypad is unlocked.
The 1100 and 1101 are able to play only monophonic ringtones, which can be selected from the list of 36 pre-installed ring tones or from the 7 self-composed ones.
It features Nokia's traditional-style navigational keypad, which uses a single button to connect and end calls, bi-directional keys and vibrating alert. It can be customized with a range of coloured covers.
It has been specifically designed for third world countries: its keypad and front facia have been designed to be as proof as possible against dust, and its sides are made to be as gripping as possible when handled with humid hands.
Other features include a 57-message capacity (inbox and drafts, with 25 messages in the sent items folder), alarm, stopwatch, calculator, 6 profiles, contacts storage (capacity 50, with ability to assign different tones to different contacts), and games (Snake II and Space Impact).
Use
Cell phone customers in developed countries in North America, Western Europe etc. who do not want advanced functions can buy unlocked 1100 handsets on eBay or in independent cell phone shops, insert their SIM card and use them as normal. Its battery, the Nokia BL-5C, has a long standby and talk time - this battery is used in more advanced models that have increased power needs for their features, but in the basic 1100 it consumes a fraction of the power and therefore lasts much longer between charges. The 1100 is offered for use with a wide range of mobile phone networks throughout the world. The 1101 model also includes support for the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP).

Its only one mobile which is made by Nokia and its really good one piece and looking official one. My dead has been using this mobile for 5 years, no any trouble with using that yet.
Really its so wonderful piece, i think Nokia has stopped to manufactured that, But i wish to start it again so i wanna buy that one first.

A phone with that soft worths that much. IT NEEDS A SOFT TO BE ABLE TO USE IT IN THAT WAY, and that is the big price for the soft... so no you wont get 15000 even if its a good one.

Nokia 1100 was the first cell i have used in my life and despite of its cheap shape and features i continue to use it nearly for two years. At the beginning i bought it just because of its cheap and affordable price but later on i realize that its a good cell which can be very comfortable in usage specially in messaging. Lots of memories are linked with my this first ever cell.
One thing i like to share about this cell is this that it slipped so many times from my hands but still i was amazed to see that it works fine

Like many other Nokia's there is only one main button in 1100 which use changes according to where you are in the menuing system. Now this gets highly annoying especially when navigating your phone book as the only thing you can do is "Call". In order to do anything else you must navigate to either the "Edit" or "Delete" section and then find the person you wish to delete. This highly time wasting and annoying.
