I have purchased a Nokia E62 through Ebay and though I have not received the phone, I have discovered that is locked to Cingular. I am in possession of T-Mobile service. I contacted the sellers and was informed to Google "Unlocking Nokia E62" which I have and I was led to this forum as well as several others.
I have several questions. Firstly, is it possible to unlock the Nokia E62 to be compatible with T-Mobile? I have read that a Cingular SIM card is necessary, but I do not have one. Also, what are the specific codes needed to unlock the phone, and do I have to contact Cingular to receive the codes? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! |
