Default Admin needs network help

So i work at a school and every student gets a computer. We have 802.11b wireless network setup it works usualy, but there is a stupid problem that i cant get rid of. There is a gost in my network. It just showed up one day it names it self the same as the output from the wireless access point and it starts to conflickt with the real connection. Please HELP i have to get rid of this gost ad hoc HELP MEEE

You could try these ideas.

Change the SSID of the AP if you haven't got too many clients.
Try and connect to the ad-hoc client and then scan it to find out what its machine name is.
There maybe an option to stop clients connecting to ad-hoc devices. I think I remember seeing it on the Windows XP client.

Hope you dont mind my asking, but which school is this? if your using Apple Mac systems, i dont know how to help. if you're using windows XP it can be found in a submenu of the wireless settings.
