Hay all
I have finally finished my cantenna and it is connecting to Setons great
Here are some pics of it and we are looking at trying to set up a workshop if I can grab somemore of the aluminium tubes that i used as they are the perfect size for the job

It is alot more discreat than the whopping big 24Dbi that was up there so it makes the wife alot happier

anyone wanting plans drop me a line on grant@spudnet.co.nz

Hehe.. well you are within shouting distance

Looks like im going to have to get the 24dB dish up about 3-4M over the roof to get to seetons reliably. Its up and down all the time from where I was going to perminantly mount it. Problem is when its that high, how am I gonna allign it

Default Homemade Cantenna

Looks great SpudNik!
What are the dimensions of the cantenna? - I want to make my own
I know where to get aluminium tubing from, only problem is it is only available in 2.5m and 5m lengths.

I would like to know:
Diameter of tubing
Tubing wall thickness
Length of tube
Position and length of feed

Thanks

John Burns

My pipe is 3.25 so was just the right size but it is alot longer than what it needs to be, it only needed to be about 8" long but it is 13"

The calc on that page is very handy to
