interest in nodes in manurewa and southy

hey my friend and I are interested in both putting up nodes, my mate live close to southmall and i live close to the corner of browns and roscommon we are interested in others who live in the manurewa area or south auckland for that matter who are interested in establising a network as part of the nzwireless movement.

just wonedering if you can see MIT from where you are

I cant see MIT from here, but my friend who is also interested lives quite close to the motorway,
why the interest in MIT have they got a wireless system up and runnign there??

might might might try get an ap up there dont know

im not too sure, its quite a ways away eh dude from where we r
but might be able to get something with a parabolic or something but ill check out what we can see on the weekend... but MIT would be a great place to have an AP due to its height

I live in the corner of Martin and Sturdee Rd in Manurewa and would be interesting in establishing a wireless connection.

I have queries as to the range of transmission though, would anyone be able to give me a rough idea?
