Job?

If you've found a job in wireless ,please share your experience.

It is hard to find any job oppotunity in wireless.I've gone through CWNA and CWAP training. However,I feel that I should have waited another year before diving into the program.Perhaps at that time the jobs will start to appear.
What concerns me is that by that time I will forget what I've learned.
I'm open to suggestions.

Try to get hold of some equipment(buy/borrow), and setup a free node for the time being. That should give you something to do to keep the knowledge at the front of your mind

I dont think there is much market for a pure wifi guru in NZ, and isnt likely to be for some time yet. You would be better to have some more general networking skills to back up your wifi certs. Even a CCNA cert would make you much more marketable than a pure wifi focus.
