Default New AP: Greenlane

Hi, we've got a new AP up and running in greenlane, got good views to market road shops, one tree hill, and even parts of the city, havent got up there with my waveguide-directional to check out what I can pick up other than my neighbours'. have got pretty good range from my omni, can pick it up.

Can't post pictures, cuz i have a faulty USB port on my laptop, I need to replace the board (will cost a mint)

I'm just down the road from ya sorta - right behind that BP station. I cant seem to see it... Kinda new to the wireless scene. What kinda antenna would I need to have thats powerful enough to see the AP?

you are nearby, yes, but you just happen to be over a little ridge, which I am close to but not on top of, you have little chance of seeing me unless we can establish a repeater nearby. remember Im at the top of foodtown-hill you are at the bottom. If u can see repco you can see me.

I'm not an internet provider, i'm currently only allowing permanent links from repeaters or nodes. as the efenthar wireless network, we will provide internet to all users and sell client equipment, but as yet, we are one node in a sea of nodes.

until I get a link up we're not going to be expanding much.
