new node

My nodes been up a few months,
due to my cruddy location atm the bottom of a gully surrounded by hills
youll only be able to find it if you drive along the newton gully motorway,

anyhow ssid is nz.wireless.org.au should you happen to find it.

if your in the thin slice of eden terrace marked by motorway in the bottom of the gulley and dominion road, theres a remote possiblilty you can connect,

The bt boys live just over the mound.

ah the ihug building, nope big mound in the way and a bunch of houses,
i'll need to put together a cantenna over the weekend, before i give it ago

Picked up cbd.johnburns.nz... when i walked to the top of my street with lappy and just a bare pcmcia card (no external ant) and was getting about 1mbs started walking closer and it jumped to about 11mbs,
so theres a really good possiblity i'll be able to get signal from my house,

Ive bought anther cable assembly which i'll be putting together tommorow,
when i get my hands on some crimpers and i'll give it a go with the 25db grids... from the top of my drive, i'll see what else is kicking around
