WAP does not let me configure

I got dse xh7988 wireless lan access point.

I'm trying to hook it up to woosh modem/phone. Here is what I did.

1. Reset access point
2. set computer ip to 192.168.0.2
3. Run SNAP program.

The program does not automatically detect access point.
So I tried to ping 192.168.0.254 (original ip address for access pint) and
ping went through fine.

I went back to the program and tried "connect ap" which is to manually detect access point.
192.168.0.524 and password was entered.

Connection went ok and the device was listed.

At this point, I should be able to configure setting on this access point
but all the configuration part is disabled and I can edit or anything.

Does anybody have a clue?
