Wireless in Papakura

Has the nzwireless network made it as far south as Papakura in Auckland? I'm really keen to connect, but unfortunatly lack the skills. Ive havent yet brought any hardware as im not sure what i would require to connect to the existing network. Are there any local gurus out there who could offer some advice?
