I have one question. I bought an antenna and PCI card and i found one wireless connection that i can connect to, its unprotected. Is there any way that the owner of this network can figure out i am connecting to his network? I use it for my facebook and download of torrents only...I suppose this network belongs to an Internet Caffe thats located by my house, tho not many people are there...
Yes they can tell if they are a resourceful user. Make sure u set the connection to public so u dont show up in there networked computers the router keeps a list of clients computer names and mac address's but chances are if they cant set a password then they prolly wont know how or bother to check it out
