Default Real Estate Security

Any here familiar with wireless security practices within a Real Estate Brokerage? I currently service Real estate agents and wireless security is definitely a challenge when working with Real Estate agents. Agents have ownership over their own systems, so they are not owned by the company, which of course makes it difficult to enforce and verify that their systems are propoerly secured.

Anyone have experience in this area that could offer best practices? Guidance? A little prayer for me?

Do most use laptops? I would first make sure they all have updates, antivirus and some spyware protection on them. Do they hook up to any network drives?

Hotspot Safety for Business Users

We illustrated five common-sense steps that anyone can take to defeat most Wi-Fi hotspot threats. Unfortunately, many users still insist on skinny-dipping in shark-infested hotspot waters. The only reliable way for employers to manage associated business risk is to define, monitor, and enforce hotspot acceptable use policies.

Something old, something new
Many companies have policies governing secure remote access to corporate networks. Those policies and related countermeasures are an excellent starting point for securing business hotspot use. However, they must be extended to deal with risks unique to Wi-Fi. ...... Wifi pune, Wi-fi Pune, Pune Unwire - Hotspot Safety for Business Users
