Default are these really threats?

I have WPA2-PSK security set up on my router, using a maximum-length random key, so I am not worried about my system being cracked; however my router has a security log which records "attacks" from different IPs all over the world every few minutes.

It's hard to imagine that my IP address would be the focus of so much attention, but it's even harder to imagine that all IPs are getting such constant attacks. Are these security log entries likely to be real hackers trying to get in, or is my router maybe recording events which are not really evil threats?

I can't say for sure, but my guess is that hackers and malware are scanning the ports on your router. It's good to continue checking your routers' logs and to make sure your firewall is up to date.

Here's something to give some thought if your concerned about security. Expensive, but it works .

i think hackers are just obsessed to hack into you and i would suggest you to updating your firewall and scanning the routers. don't take the threats easy, they may cause serious trouble for you if you take them minor.

Have a good day
