I have a wireless router that supports only WEP. Its said WEP is better that nothing. So i switched to WEP. Since then my clients are finding it difficult to enter WEP keys while connecting. I have seen the option on windows XP wireless properties that says "This key is provided me automatically". How can I configure so that the client get the WEP key automatically?
I don't have any idea how could WEP key be automatically entered.
But If you are using WEP use it 128 bit WEP key.
If there is option on your WIreless router you could use it with 802.1x (you use Radius server for authentication and authorization). With IAS (also Radius server) on windows you could use also your active directory users.
