Default What are my additional security options, forced to turn on SSID?

Hello all,

I'm new here and here's my conundrum...

My Droid phone has major problems connecting to my network with SSID off. I tried all sorts of options using my 2 Linksys routers: E3000 & WRT-54G to no avail. The only option that works is with SSID on!?!

What I've done:
  • WPA2
  • Long security key (21 characters)
  • MAC Filtering ()
  • Router's firmware updated
  • Patiently waiting to change my phone when my contract expires!

That said, I'm trying to work with my current situation...........My question is, in order for me to use WiFi on my phone at home, if I enable SSID can I get further security with a RADIUS Server?

Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it too much sounds like you did quite a bit already.
Also keep power down on your ap to the minimum.
