Default Wi-Fi Guard !

i am a software engineer student,
doing bachelors.

i have proposed to make a Final Year project on Wireless Intrusion Detection System.

kindly give me a guide on this.

and tell me what are new attacks in Wireless Network

and also give my some sites and some information..

I suppose, it will be rather difficult to make stable WIDS ...

But in every case you need to explore monitor mode and to learn some facts about Wi-Fi framing. It will be usefull to install Wireless Snort or Kismet based IDS in order to understand what rules and methods are used for defending from insiders.

actually i have now proposed my project and just doing the first phase i.e. studying how to apply security on out packet..then i will be going for IDS (few and simple intrusion attacks)

so if u could give me some idea on basic attacks, that would be usefull...
