Default After enabling WPA2 I'm unable to home network

Internet works ok on all 3 computers on my home network but I can't share files and printers anymore after I enabled WPA2 security.
With it disabled it works perfectly.
I have Belkin N1 router and while I'm sure there must be something in the configuration to be set, I wasn't able to find it.

I have enabled MAC filtering if that matters.

The files and printers sharing will stop working as soon as I enable the WPA2 security.

Silly questions
1. What OS are you using on the computers? If using XP SP2 do you have the WPA2 client update installed i.e.kb917021?
2.Are the drivers for the wireless cards in your computers WPA2 capable?Normally just download the latest drivers from the OEM's web site.
3.Did you set your encryption for WPA2 Personal in the router and are you using WPA2-PSK
TKIP or AES or a combination? I have problems with TKIP+AES. I also have problems trying to use WPA+WPA2 combination.
4.Does the combination in your computers exactly match that of the router?

1. XP SP2 and yes
2. Yes (at least I believed so 'till today)
3. Just tried to set router exclusively to WPA2 with AES (no combinations) and had to connect withwire because all my computers refused to connect wirelessly.
Obviously some kind of incompatibility.
Even though if I had set combinations before, it showed in available wireless networks "Connected - Security WPA2"

Now Ihave it set to WPA TKIP and so far no problems.
Looks like I've got to settle for lowest security but be able to share filesand printers.

And I've tried everything. Netbeui, re-install drivers, restart router, you name it.

I am just being pedantic but you said
"Just tried to set router exclusively to WPA2 with AES (no combinations) and had to connect withwire because all my computers refused to connect wirelessly."

Can you clarify that you DID NOT set it to WPA2 with AES but in fact you set it to
1.Security mode---> WPA/WPA2-Personal(PSK)
2.Authentication---> WPA2-PSK
3.Encryption Technique--->AES

I occasionally get confused between WPA2 and WPA2-PSK and just like to keep things clear in my mind.

Sharing on a Wi-Fi Network Using Windows Vista

Share Files Using the Public Folder

Windows Vista doesn't have the Shared Documents folder (which Windows XP offered), however the Public folder is included which offers a very easy way to share files and documents with others on the same network in addition to other user accounts on the PC.

As Figure 1 shows, you can access the Public folder from Windows Explorer or Computer.
