I am trying to make a simple point to point wireless network (it was supose to be simple), and I am having some issues with the configuration. I would be thankfull if someone could help me or give me some suggestions on how to solve this.
This is the situation: I have AP (5 GHz Antenna with Bullet M5 set as AP). This is connected to LAN switch.
On the other side is client (2.4 GHz Antenna with Bullet 2).
Between tese two points there is no optical view so we use AirLive Airmax DUO as some sort of connecting point.
Airmax DUO is set in Client+AP mode.
First, I have to say that I don't really know much about wireless and networks, and that someone suggested this equipment and solution.
My problems are:
1. I can not connect to AP on Airmax duo. It says: Obtaining IP address... and then nothing. What could be the problem?
2. There are 2 LAN ports on AirMax DUO and I don't know if there are giving any signals?
3. Is there any better configuration for the Air Max DUO than this?
Any suggestions would be great, specially if someone has worked with AirMax DUO.
