I have had my Belkin N1 wireless router for over 2 years now:
Model: F5D8231-4
Version: 2010 uk
However recently (past 3 months) I've been experiencing massive issues with it. Basically I am only getting download speeds of around 50 to 200 kbps on 10Mb broadband connection. I have connected my computer directly to the modem and it worked like a dream averaging speeds of 8MB which is great but then when I test the speed after connecting to my wireless network it slumps to a pityful 0.2MB making opening an email are arduous task...does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
Current firmware is F5D8231-4_UK_2.01.13 (I have recently updated this)
In the 2 years i've had this router I have not experienced this problem even when I had a 2MB broadband connection.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as Belkin have no idea whatsoever and this is driving me mad!!!
