Blackberry Crashes and restarts when used as tethered modem

I have the blackberry pearl with service from T-mobile. I connect it as a modem all the time and it typically works like a champ. However, I play an online game (everquest) and when i connect using the blackberry and I am zoning the phone will just spontaniously reboot. It seems the high bandwidth is killing it, but i have no idea how to restrict this. Not to mention that is only a guess. Anyone have any suggestions.

I have the exact same issue. Any progress on getting this to work?
